I have front seat tickets on the Landmass Train. I could see either team or possibly both winning 10 games this year. I still think USCe wins the conference this year.

If there was ever a year for them to break through, this is it. If Mullen can't win with this group then I don't know man.

That's actually a fair assessment

A little unfair to him however. What's he had around him to help? Not much. Dude has the tools... just needs some help. Maybe this is the year he gets some.

What will he have around him this year??? They dont have any playmakers to speak of

If you guys don't knock off either LSU, Bama, or Auburn, assuming Dak doesn't get injured, will this season be a disappointment?

Auburn was 3 plays away from being an 8-4 team last year. MSU, UGA and Bama all should have been losses for Auburn and again the stars aligned for them. Luckiest team in college football IMO. Both Mississippi teams have a lot of talent coming back, especially at the skill positions when the rest of the west will be breaking in new guys. I think we have a fair shot at anyone next year and out of Auburn, Bama and LSU I say we get Auburn simply because we are at home for that one. The Ole Miss game I don't see us favored the home team has such an advantage in that game. If Dak stays healthy we will be a very strong team a game or two into the season.

I will wait to see how they fair against Auburn. I would be more worried about them if we went to Starkville this year.

We're beating Auburn. That's a given. I want an LSU victory. If we don't get that then it will be a disappointing season.

I wanted it noted that y'all brought us up in a thread that had little to do with us.

J.Lewis is a top 3 returning WR in stats. Not saying that means we win 10 or anything. But we have playmakers. Big outside WR's and some stout RB's(not proven though. That's going off potential). We will have to put up or shut up, but we are talented.

Anyone who says we don't have play makers or guys surrounding Dak doesn't know what they are talking about. Which is fine, most people don't know a lot about schools other than their own, and especially not a Mississippi school.

That was in reply to a statement that we would lose to OM, which the poster didn't agree with. A rebuttal doesn't mean we brought you up.

MSU with Prescott was a decent team. They are experienced and hungry. If they win a few games early I think they could pull an upset but this has the potential to be Mullen's best team.
