1) LSU - Going through the November gauntlet preceded by wins versus underwelming competition
2) Ole Miss - possible losing record through 7 games
3) Tennessee - Should not lose again with the pitiful remains of the pitiful SEC east. But, with weekly slow starts, who knows.
4) Auburn - Are they real or propped up by a poor LSU performance?
5) A&M - If Bama takes them to the woodshed, will they crumble as in years past?
6) Florida - Will the defense heal and/or the offense ever show up?

Just curious about the thoughts of the fair, level headed participants here on the SEC Rant. Rank em as you see them. If not, troll away...

No predictions. I think the results of this weekend's games will really tell us what we need to know about the SEC.

If they lose this week then Butch needs to be fired.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking when I posed the question. It is basketball season for at least one or two on the list.

I think A&M is the most solid of those in the list. All the others have a lot of question marks that will only begin to be answered with another SEC game.

No doubt about it...the only thing that could possibly derail them in my opinion is a big loss this weekend. If A&M wins or keeps it close, they could easily win out and be in the national title discussion come December.

Agreed, This week will answer a lot of the questions of the other 5.

SEC, especially West, is the most competitive football on the planet.

Out of those teams, the obvious answer is Florida. I just don't think they're that good plus they have a brutal remaining schedule (@ Arkansas, @ LSU, @ Florida State). I also believe A&m will come down down to earth by losing to both LSU and Ole Miss and will finish the season with a 9-3 record..

7) Bama - When Aggy beats them, they get left out of the SECCG and probably still end up a 3rd seed in the playoff
