Manziel owns the SEC offensive record book, after his redshirt freshman season. He's a douche, but come on guys.
Also QB > DE... I agree defense is more important, but DE is not.

Tie. But nc14 is on the clock and must make selection - Manziel. Clowney is an upfield DL, and great. Manziel has a few more tools in his box.

ACC = 2 schools
B12 = 2 schools

Anyone who says Clowney is merely doing so because they dislike Manziel. There is no logical football reasoning for picking the best DE over the best QB.
Does anyone picking Clowney think an NFL GM would pick DeMarcus Ware over Aaron Rodgers? Of course not. It's an absolutely ridiculous assertion. It's offensive to the game of football to even suggest it.

Clowney.... could you imagine that beast on the Alabama D? It wouldn't matter who the QB is, if he loses the ball he knows he's getting it back in 5 minutes.
