How was that confusing you? Clowney was a true Sophomore in 2013. Fairley was in his fifth year (three in JC, including a RS season, and two at AU).

Try again.

Fairley was apart of the 2007 class. Let's put our brains to the pad and figure out what that means.

07-JUCO
08-JUCO
09-AU
10-AU

Math is FUNdamental!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeahhhh, no. That's incorrect.

Signed with Auburn in 2007, went to JuCo, re-signed with Auburn in 2009.

So it was 4 years instead of 2. Congrats on missing the point about the experience difference, which is still clearly in Fairley's favor.

Congrats on trying to cover for your dumbass friends frick up. Claiming a 20% difference in college experience is something to just discard. Not only that, but the fact that you think JUNIOR COLLEGE is anywhere near the same level as the god damn SEC. fricking dumbass's.

He has a great point. Clowney his 2nd year was WAY better than Fairly in his 4th year. Clownet in his 3rd year will also be leagues better than Fairly in his 4th year.

Clowney will go #1 in the draft, where did Fairly go, does it matter or does anyone even remember? (seriously, no google lookup, what was it?)

Fairley, he was to the defense what Cam was to the offense. He actually has a NC Ring. Clowney is a stud, but I take Fairley ftw.

Still had twice the experience, so clearly you are missing the point over an unintentional mistake.

Well he did win every major defensive award, that he could win. Dorsey was unblock-able before that chop block.

Fairley, no question.

This.

At the NFL level and as a prospect Clowney is easily the superior prospect, but I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest taking Fairley over Clowney in college.

He was more dominant and productive at a more valuable position. Why wouldn't I take him?

That must be why Clowney won the Lombardi Trophy and Fairley didn't, huh?

My mistake. Saw he was redshirted his first year in CC and his stats from cfbstats.com listed his 2010 year as his senior year... wasn't really doing math, just logic (though flawed, evidently).

My point is that he had more experience. Be it two years or three, it's still more than Clowney has had. If your argument is that Fairley went to CC and didn't train or get coached at all, who is the dumbass?

Yes, because as well all know, junior college athletes are at the top of their game.

HELL just look at all those JUCO guys getting drafted by the NFL.

UNREAL, right???

Did Fairley win it in his Freshman or Sophmore year?
