quote:Meh, Auburn scored 21 points and was 5 yards away from 28 before Patrick Miller went full retard. Auburn had no offensive identity at this point in the season anyway. At least, Auburn's offensive identity was nowhere near the same as what it was when we were scoring a ton of points at the end of the year.
Chavis fielded his most lack luster defense at LSU and still took Gus to school

Part of being an LSU fan, is every year, we'll beat a team that refuses to recognize that win and wants a rematch. Auburn 2013, aggy 2012, bammer 2011, Tennessee 2010, Georgia 2009, and on and on.

Part of being a Bama fan is knowing you very well could!

no amount of hypotheticals is ever going to change that.
No, but a SEC, a historic win over UGA and Alabama, and a trip to the Rose Bowl sure did erase all the pain.

After the 21 point ads whooping Bama put on LSU?
Auburn easily.
Auburn easily.

Yes they did. It was a run first offense just like it was all year.

It would have been a lot tighter game, and Auburn had a lucky star stuffed up their flappy asses at the end but it would not have been like that Ole Miss game where we showed up thinking it would be a cake walk. It would have been epic.

The thing about silly hypotheticals is that anyone can "predict" anything and it will still be just as likely to happen as anyone else's "prediction"
If they played in a neutral dome in November? Clearly OBJ and Landry would have gone to town on a weak Auburn secondary, Hill would have rushed for 250, Magee would of had another 140 and Hilliard would have topped it all off with 4 td runs.
Final score? LSU 42 Barners 10
See?

I love how every barber is bringing up the fact that LSU got lucky in the game. They were definitely going to win if time ran out.
Seems they forget that the game was in hand by halftime and LSU put on cruise control and played to not get hurt.
No where in that game was anybody worried about Auburn coming back.

Auburn easily. LSU couldn't stop Auburn with a plain offense and got most of their points thanks to 2 busted plays and a fumbled punt. Auburn would have scored about twice what they did with the full offense and LSU likely wouldn't have gotten 21 points handed to them. They couldn't beat Ole Miss.

Solid post.
Auburn ended the season by beating Alabama, Mizzou, Georgia, and barely losing to Florida State. LSU finished the season by barely beating Arkansas, barely beating Iowa, and getting slammed by Alabama.
So would Alabama have beaten Auburn if they got a do-over? My memory is kind of fuzzy, but didn't Stoops go in dry on Alabama in the sugar? I am not sold on Mizzou or Georgia either. Georgia was dog shite at the end and almost beat Auburn if it hadn't been for a miracle play at the end. Bottom line is LSU is built to stop Auburn's offense and has done it on numerous occasions lately. In short Les & Chavis own Auburn right now. I say LSU again, until Auburn proves otherwise.

Yeah, Auburn needs to actually beat LSU again before we can actually say they're capable of it.

Man a lot of people care about this dumb shite.
Auburn was beaten, move on.

That's the funny part. I could buy this hypothetical crap if it was a single touchdown, but they got curb stomped in every phase of the game until the twos came in. We pulled our starters, and they think they could have won the game. Let that sink in.

You won the game but Auburn was alot better team at the end of the year while LSU went downhill. LSU fans will see this year. Auburn returns its offense.

And I said … we said … I said, ‘Are you strong?’ They said, ‘I’m strong if you strong.’ I said, ‘We strong, then.’”
Let that sink in.
