I just hope Butch isn't our Zook/Freeze. He can obviously recruit but you have to be able to coach too.

If Freeze continues to win only 7-8 games a year and goes 3-5 in the SEC every year, he will be gone in a couple years.

If Mullens does that, state is having can drives to make money from recycling aluminum cans to fund a Mullen statue.

Bert's SEC record: 0-8 Close, but not even Croom could frick up that bad.

Where would Mullen move? I don't see many great landing spots honestly.

Freeze. Muschamp will be fired and Merlins will be hired away from MSU as HC of a semisuccessful, lower level Tier 1 school. Like Illinois.

Mullen is paid 3 million a year/top 20-25 money, and has an expanded stadium and brand new state of the art football facilities. It would take a lot bigger program than got damn Illinois to take him.

Muschamp is hard to get a read on. I mean he's an above average recruiter (not top of the line but really good), an elite defensive coach (maybe the best in College Football) and an inexperienced HC, if he'd spent a season at a low-major like Gus did he'd probably be in a lot better shape now (he's essentially the defensive version of Malzahn-- unfortunately for him defense isn't exactly something Florida struggled at before he got there so the improvement he made isn't really all that noticeable at all whereas his massive suck on offense pisses Florida fans off constantly), other than wins this year (he needs 9 to be safe-- though it'd make 2015 an Atlanta or Go Home season) the real deciding thing is the offense, or more importantly his ability to retain a staff, I mean what happens if Florida does turn it around this year goes 11-1, 10-2 and wins the East, but Roper gets the obvious HC offer-- does Boom go back to the dinosaur offense or does he stay with the Spread No Huddle approach?

Freeze might jump at a better offer if he's hot for a year, Mullen while a much better coach than most give him credit for isn't a good enough recruiter to get an offer from a major BCS power he could be a career guy at MSU though-- if they weren't an SEC team he could make them a VT level program.

Mullen. As long as he stays at or above .500 he's safe.

I figure Freeze has 2 or so years left, based on Ole Miss history: he'll either flop and get canned, or do well and get hired by someone willing to pay more.
Muschamp's on the hot seat, IMO. He needs to win (or at least challenge) for the East, and I figure they may finish 4th. That won't cut it, especially if they're out of it early.
