Jeremy Maclin - He holds the NCAA freshman record for most all-purpose yards in a single season. His yardage totals in four categories were: 307 punt returning, 375 rushing, 1,039 kickoff returning, and 1,055 receiving for a total of 2,776 yards; an average of 198.3 yards per game in his 14 games.

For A&M, I'd go back to the early part of the BCS era and say Dante Hall. There's a reason he was called the X-factor and the Human Joystick.

PP7 was the best lockdown corner in the history of LSU football

This statement is correct but again I will have to say that athletically, TM7 put on a pretty good show for two seasons. His athletic ability and awareness on the field bump him over PP7 IMO.

Reggie McNeal was similar to Russell Sheppard except his talent wasn't completely wasted like Sheppard, only partially. You should read up on the history of the game pre 2011 young man, there's some interesting stuff in there

I know plenty about the game, but have never had a reason to follw aTm since they've been terrible for the vast majority of my life.

My other team is UCF so I'll throw them in here.

Probably Daunte Culpepper. Ran a 4.52 at 255lbs and jumped 39".

I may get crucified for this, but if we're strictly talking athleticism, I'm going with Joe Adams.

Understood. Make sure you load up on those extracurriculars if you haven't already, I hear all the colleges are looking for that sort of thing these days

You must not follow recruiting either. He was Rival's #1 QB recruit that year.

Those two guys are all anyone talked about in Texas during their 4 years of high school, their respective college careers, and for four years after. Of course I'm going to compare them to each other, everyone in this state did for a decade.

I completed those a number of years ago. Now I'm focused on philanthropy and giving back. I'll pass your advice on to my 'little brother' though.

Boobie is the best football player, but best athlete would probably go to Jamont Gordon.
