Les didn't pass on Dak.... Dak passed on LSU. Learn your facts.

In a few more years people will be asking this same question about Les Miles allowing Cole Kelley to go play at Arkansas. Louisiana kid who is going to be a big damn deal before his playing career is over.

Nope. And the lead recruiter was.... Dabo Swinney.

My mind is blown right now. That is all.

What a great start for Dak. Yes it's only pre-season but I feel he will have a big time career as an N.F.L. QB. Another Louisiana QB doing well in the league that did not go to LSU. It would have been cool for the Saints to have chosen him as Drew's eventual replacement.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but Dak would have looked like shite in the LSU offense.

Les has yet to recruit a guy from HS and develop that same QB into an all-SEC QB.

That's just facts.

Dak did the right thing and played for a good QB coach. Brandon Harris has a lot of talent, but you have to put him in the right system and continue to groom him. It's just a square peg/round hole scenario.

BH could thrive this year, but the offense needs to be tweaked for him to be successful.

go look at Harris' second year numbers and go look at Dak's, Harris has him beat in most passing categories

Dude. I'm of the opinion Harris could be good. But really?

Yes, really. Harris' 2015 stats (his second year at LSU and first year starting) were better than Dak's 2013 stats (his second year at MSU and first year starting).

More total yards, more yards per attempt, better TD/INT ratio, higher QBR. The only stat Dak did better in was completion percentage (58%-53%).

He looked worse in MSU's offense in his first year starting (2nd year at MSU) than Harris did last year.

Dak seems to be doing fine without Cam.

Maybe Cam used to be a good QB coach, but his track record at LSU hasn't been good based on the talent they have had.

You do realize Brandon Harris had a better season in his first year starting than Dak did, right?

Harris is Cameron first QB that he recruited and has full responsibility for. Harris should be a redshirt sophomore this year and if LSU had recruited and developed QB's correctly prior to Cam this would be Harris' first year to start. So lets see how he performs.

As a diehard LSU fan I have watched Cam handle our offense since he got the job. There are two wholly different issues when describing him.
First he is a very good QB coach and can develop talent. However in the other issue, is he allowed to run the system that best suits the QB he has developed ?
I kind of liken it to a horse trainer who is very good at training thoroughbreds but then the owner insists on only running quarter horse races !

I agree. Ppl don't wanna believe that because they look at stats from last two years with very young inexperience at qb. They forget what he did with Mett after he had a very mediocre season the previous year. Cameron has had success at the highest level and will have success this year which should shut some ppl up. He was behind the 8ball with qbs but he will get the last laugh. We stacked at qb in the future and Harris gonna light it up this year

Les Miles went undefeated and won an SEC championship with Jordan fricking Jefferson. What did Mullen ever do with Dak?

As always, misleading in your portrayal on everything.
