Both were great college QBs. But, I'd have to give the nod to Tebow because of what his teams accomplished.
Winning the Heisman doesn't hurt.

Dak was better. More feared? Probably Tebow.
This is obviously the answer.

I'm Biased, so I'll say...
Tebow
Tebow

Tebow was one of the greatest college players of all time. Dak was barely an all sec player. Not close although he is having a great preseason

Dak is doing well but lets not make it cloud our judgement. Cmon guys, its preseason.
In college Tebow was far better.

Are you really that stupid. Tebow is statistically the best college QB ever. Dak not so much

Dak is a beast but Tebow had something extra that doesn't show up in measurables. Tebow was one of the greatest to ever play college football.

Tebow. Dak is good, but no where near Tebow.

Tebow was so effective in college because, outside that one fluke time against Ole Miss, he was basically unstoppable in short yardage and red zone situations where a lot of other college teams struggle.
The dude broke Herschel Walker's rushing TDs record (amongst other records). That was more him than the "talent around him".
The original question is who is a better college QUARTERBACK. No question that Tebow was "unstoppable" in short yardage and red zone situations where a lot of other college teams struggle. First of all, just putting Tebow in the shotgun and an empty backfield gives you an extra blocker. Then take a look at his blockers. Almost every player on the UF offensive line made an All SEC (1ST, 2ND OR 3RD) team and went on to the NFL. Marcus Gilbert has been an NFL starter since his 3rd game. Mike Pouncey (3X Pro Bowler), Maurkice Pouncey (4X Pro Bowler). You think all of those red zone TD's were because of Tebow's talent as a QUARTERBACK?

I see what you're trying to do but there are a lot of quarterbacks that would have been great with Tebows surroundings. It is what it is

Upvote for Tebow, downvote for Dak

This is like saying would Tom Brady have done as well if he went to the Cleveland Browns.
Every QB needs talent around them.

Heath Shuler
One of the most underrated QBs we've ever had. I remember at the time, I really didn't appreciate his game but damn could he throw with power. You could hear a *thwap* when his WRs would catch his passes even in Neyland.

Is this question being asked because Dak looked great in a pre season game?
Tebow looked good last year for the Eagles preseason games.
So Tebow wins.
