I must admit that the Tigers from the East are better than I thought they were. I just can't stand the thought of them going to the SECCG a second year in a row. I don't like the talking points it provides those rubes from the Big 12.
I have also come to appreciate the fight in the Hogs. They never gave up this season, even when the going got rough.
Strange....one of our teams beat a Big 12 team in a bowl, the other lost....

So I don't know, but you know it's a fantasy?
Hmmm...

I get that your line of thinking helps you deal with that embarrassing finish to Bama's season last year, but.....
Pretty sure Bama loss to OU, had more tongues wagging in laughter. Certainly, the entire Big 12 conference found it amusing, if not all the Power 5 programs

Everyone but Big Game Bob knows the OK game was a fluke. I hear more, "see how well Mizzou is doing? They were mid-level Big 12. You're not any better than us"
I disagree with your first point. Did you not watch the same game the rest of America watched?
The second point (the one in quotes) is quite valid. I think the SEC is probably the best conference in the country, but not by any sizeable margin.
After Bama and LSU there's a significant dropoff in terms of programs being consistent powerhouses. MSU looks good now, but how will they look next season? And the season after that?
Aubie and Georgia have talent, but they're inconsistent. Mizzou - indeed a mid-level Big-12 program - contends.
Get over yourselves - the SEC isn't nearly what you crack it up to be.

No doubt, OU was a shitty loss for UA.
No doubt, more people were happy and/or amused seeing OU beat UA.
No doubt, UA has had a great deal of success as a program which invariably engenders feelings of hatred directed at the UA program.
Missouri has a long way to go before people will care enough about them to actually wish them to lose on a weekly basis.

I just can't wait until Mauk mushroom stamps Saban in Atlanta. Just a little out of bounds run - then SMACK the dickhead against Saban's forehead and go back on the field for the win. Spurrier and Saban can join a support group together.

I don't know... the amount of vitriol that's spewed at Mizzou on this board makes me think the Tigers must be doing something right. Nobody hates on Vandy, do they?

Be kinda funky for Mizzou to represent the East having lost to UGA 34-0 at home. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which team is much, much better.

We lost to one SEC East team. You lost to two. It's not that hard.

Clearly it's the one that lost to UF and USCe, right?
The Dawgs should have taken care of business, but didn't. Enjoy being a spectator.

Salient points, but this board does not represent the opinions of the general public on the whole... it represents the rantings of a bunch of college football lunatics. Vandy, well, they are that little engine that couldn't, except against auburn.

It'd be strange for Georgia to represent the East after getting stomped by Florida. Florida is clearly the better team.

And how did Mizzou fair against this inferior Uga team you speak of?
