I'd rather Jimmy Franklin suffer and/or fail than Vandy.

This Vandy is worse than old Vandy. Old Vandy lost most of their games but only got blown out by the SEC big boys.

Getting blown out by Temple is like what bad FCS schools do.

And don't think you understand what I was saying, and that's ok.

I miss seeing the grit and effort they played with under Franklin. I enjoyed seeing Franklin go off on douche coaches of opposing teams.

Granted, South Carolina didn't drop any games to the except for the '07 and '08 seasons, but who really enjoys this?

I really don't understand what this has to do with anything. As you mentioned we never lost to Franklin when they were good, but yes it is nice to have less competition with them sucking again. With that said Vandy had been knocking off other teams since '07-08... wouldn't they enjoy it more than us?

I really don't understand the relevancy of the '07-'08 games.

I'm going to be really bummed if they go winless this year. I always have pulled for Vandy. I actually went to an LSU game in Nashville when Jay Cutler was there.

So the verdict is basically only Ole Miss fans. Shocking.

I don't enjoy any SEC team losing. As a UK football fan, i think it's obvious I would feel that way.

:kige:

On a side note, a CWS trophy does ease the pain a bit.

I know that we Aggies are still the new kids in town, and maybe we don't yet understand all of the interplay amongst the other schools, but taking pleasure in the struggles of Vanderbilt seems a lot like taking pleasure in the struggles of the handicapped kid at the track meet.

Most of the Ole Miss fans don't feel bad. Guess it helps that Vandy is the cross division permanent.

First off, we're right here and can see what you're saying. No need to be so hurtful. If you watched "The Stars are Aligned," you'd know most UT fans treat us like a red-headed step-child. They also enjoy kicking puppies and stealing ice cream from little girls in sundresses. If you so much as smile about beating them 41-18 then you're pathetic and need to learn your place though. You all share a state with a UT. You know what it's like.

It brings a tear to my eye to know another team in the SEC can possibly share in my misery!

JOKE!

I like Vandy and would like them to be more competitive, however just like so many, they began to believe themselves a bit much.

The value of the Liberty Bowl tix went from face to 30.00 each immediately when they were chose agains.. Was it Cinci? Whoever.

It doesn't matter too much to me, but I do take some satisfaction from it after seeing them dance on the Mizzou emblem following their victory in Columbia back in 2012. Never mind that they BARELY beat a team that was decimated by injuries.

That really bothered me because when Mizzou wins, we win with class. Our guys don't feel the need to rub it in. I know that Franklin has moved on to PSU, but I lost all respect for him after I saw that.

Mason will soon be a retired millionaire for failing at his job. I'd have to bust my arse for next 40 years just to retire. I don't necessarily feel bad for him.
