What does any of this have to do with the fact that Fournette is better than Chubb?

It is sometimes more difficult to do something when everyone expects it. Not surprised you can't figure that out

Having to reach back to the 40's to flesh out your list.

Damn.

Let's take a second and pretend this is true, even though it isn't.

If Auburn runs the ball 90% of the time and always finds success, why can't anyone stop them and why should they change their offensive formula due to success?

Just looked, it doesn't. So in 23 years Arkansas has had 13 1000 yard rushers as compared to 14, 15, 17, 18, and 24 in 60 years for everyone in front of them. Arkansas is on pace to have triple the amount of anyone on that list in that timeframe.

The answer is Arkansas.

Arkansas has 13 1,000 yard rushers in 23 years with the SEC, and for the rest of their history (until the OP's selected date) they have:

1) James Rouse (1989)
2) James Rouse (1987)
3) Ben Cowins (1978)
4) Ben Cowins (1977)
5) Ben Cowins (1976)
6) Dicky Morton (1973)
7) Dicky Morton (1972)

Total: 20

Sorry, Arkansas. You lose again!

Tie would have to go to Bo Jackson in your scenario. I know the BAMA fas will hate me for that but I loved Bo Jackson and still do.

yards per carry is more indicative. and add the number of rushing attempts (team wise). having one back get all the carries will skew the two stats you mentioned.
