Pearl has 5 star talent on the way. Injuries have killed this season. Can't win many games when a white kid from Mtn. Brook is you backup point guard.

Hell, we just had two white guys on the floor with 8 minutes left in the 1st half.

How do you know he's from Mtn. Brook? He probably already told you by now

Norris and who?
I remember Norris coming out of high school. Hoped Barbee could have brought him in then.
Now, not so much.

We can next year if we get a decent fifth year transfer to play inside. If not, it'll be the next year when Wiley gets here.

It's pretty obvious that Alabama is going to be pretty good once the transfers and this recruiting class gets there.

Both Bama and AU make it next year.
This thread is made to rile up Bama and Auburn fans.

Auburn will be a contender in 2018.

Injuries have killed Auburn this year and their best offensive player has been in academic limbo all year. Pearl is recruiting elite players and depth will improve by next season. This roster should've been much improved, but there's not much you can do with as many issues as we've had.

Best G play, Bama
Best C group, Bama
Best F group, Bama
Am I doing thi5 right?

I think both could next year.
Alabama will be much better next year.
The entire team returns except for Retin, we add Nick King who is supposedly the best player on the team right now but can't play because of transfer. We get Dazon Ingram back, who was probably our #2 best player before he broke his foot. We also add a top 10, NBA player in Terrance Ferguson, the #64 player in Braxton Key and the #6 JuCo player in ArMond Davis (#11 recruiting class).
So, I mean, yea I think we have a decent shot next year. Hell, if we close out tonight and beat Mizzou Saturday we will be in the Top 50 of the RPI and semi-on the bubble in mid-February this year.

Auburn returns just as much as Bama and brings in more.

Disagree. We bring in a Top 10 player + guy who has proven to be a legit very good Power 5 player in King plus Key and Davis. Probabily about even. I think Auburn probably actually brings a bit more "back".
Either way, we will both be much more talented and both have a shot at making the tournament.
