LSU is a one trick pony...Will that be good enough to get them through SEC play? Probably not. But you never know a passing game could develop out of thin air...

LSU won't lose at home this year and I think we split away games @ BAMA & Ole Miss so I think without a strong passing attack Les will have those boys ready to play in any big game. We will be able to pass just enough to win

Yes LSU "can" beat anyone with LF including BAMA...I think I read that jargon correctly.

LSU is not overrated. They can beat anyone in the nation right now. It has to be Ole Miss.

I'm an LSU fan but agree LSU is the most overrated team RIGHT NOW!!

We will see how the schedule plays out though you never know.
BAMA could commit 5 Turnovers again.
Ole Miss can play like typical Ole Miss does 2 to 3 games a year.
TAMU still hasn't beaten LSU since before joining the SEC so until they do you have to give LSU the edge.
UF is playing tough as well as Arkansas is never an easy "W" for LSU.

Not sure any SEC team will be undefeated at the end of this year. Nobody is great but quite a few are good.

I will say this. LSU may be a little bit overrated now but if the WR's start catching balls that they can then you guys are f*cked. That's all ill say about that.

Yeah, cause LSU has certainly run every set/play in the playbook. No way they have a short passing game that make you play 7 in the box, no way. Just no way.

Alabama is the most overrated.

The loss to Ole Miss happened. it was real. and it was at home. pounding Georgia does not negate the loss. Just like Ole Miss win over Alabama does not negate the disaster in the swamp.

Alabama has:
a loss against a team AT HOME that was/is thought to be good, but was destroyed by a team we are unsure of.

-and-

a win against a team thought good but completely without proof. Georgia hasn't done anything this year.

Alabama should be ranked about 15th right now. It is early in the season and rankings ought to be more representative of the actual situation, and that should be counterbalanced by increased fluidity. Alabama might be a 9-3 team who just beat a 7-6 team, we just don't know. The disgusting benefit of the doubt that Alabama continually gets is just so tiresome.

I look forward to committee rankings being released, they did a much better job of this last year than the polls ever do.

We should have scored at least 2 more TDs vs State.. Maybe 4 had we gone for it on those 4th downs and thrown the ball instead of running a draw.

I wouldn't call us world beaters, but we are not a bad team, and are top 15 for sure.

I'd have to go with Ole Miss after getting spanked by Florida.

Us.

Famous rantard responses to our lack of a passing game:
"Why air it out when we can run LF7 on every down?"
"We're a run first offense and passing is only needed in a necessary situation"
"Did you not see LF7 put up 2 hundy on EMU???!!!"

This is my favorite:
"It takes time for the WR's and QB to gel" Uh, wtf were you doing during the offseason or during practice or when you actually had to throw during a game?

10-2/9-3 seems about right for us sadly.

Name one LSU back this year who has busted one of those big TD runs Fournette keeps breaking off. Waiting...waiting...

LF has gotten 25 carries a game and the others haven't.

Had Guice been given that many carries, he's have 1-2 long TD runs.

You simply can't get those HRs without going to bat a few times.

What? How is me stating the obvious being mad? I guess I should come in here and talk about how great LSUs QB and passing attack is to go along with LF?
