Why would it matter????? but If Saban completes the re-structured deal, he will make a total at least $55.2 million. If Alabama terminates without cause prior to the end of the contract, it would owe him no more than about $23.3 million. Google is your friend...

Think about what LSU could buy with $15 million. Think about all the scholarships that they could give to kids with that money. That is what I am always perplexed by.

Gus had a (IIRC) $12 mil buyout in 2014 (down to about 8 now)
Bert has a $15 million buyout with Arky.
Nick had a 'fired without cause' buyout of $23 million at Bama when he reupped in 2014 (think it goes down over time).
