Hands down Chad Kelly is #1. Who is behind him? Dobbs? Knight? Brandon Harris? Your thoughts, please.

Austin Allen is looking pretty good so far.

I think you can make arguments for Austin Allen, Trevor Knight, & Drew Lock at this point. The next tier includes Dobbs, Hurts, and maybe Del Rio before the injury. A lot of competition, but not elite talent.

Not so fast my friend... Allen might be as good. Overall Kelly has a little better physical ability but Allen has him beat mentally. If I was choosing one to start a game it would be Allen first and Kelly second.

The Aggie love fest over Allen needs to chill out. The kid can get up from a few hits.

A bit of a Gap after Chad Kelly

Knight... I guess

I need to see more of Jalen Hurts and Drew Lock before I can really comment on them.

Well, through his first 4 games as a starter, he also has the 3rd highest QB Rating and YPP in the SEC. It's more than being able to take a hit.

Honest answer I'm still not sold on who I would take. Kelly and Allen's passing is nice but it's hard for me to discount Trevor's ability to run the ball.

Hurts is also a top SEC qb. Showed a lot of poise in the Ole Miss game.

I agree. I put him in the running for 2nd best QB with only 2 other guys. However the way some posters are slobbering all over him is way over the top and it is due to being able to take a few hits in a blowout.

Allen taking hits was part of it sure. The most impressive aspect of Allen is his ability to sprint out and throw strikes while on the run. Guy was pressured all night by us and still threw for over 350.

You like who you like. I will like who I like. My post... My opinion.

Already posted it, homie. He threw for 371 because he had to throw it 40+ times. His YPA was still solid, but how much came in garbage time vs a prevent defense?
