Condredge Holloway

One of my first football memories as a kid. Beside early LSU, a few NFL memories Holloway was awesome to watch. Played in the day of those short jerseys. Shows you how pussified people are. Most of the posts in this thread are about Chesney, not Holloway.

Ignoring one of the most talented athletes to play in the SEC and arguing about some gender confused entertainer.

Its pretty good. Not 30 for 30 level though. I do like that Bama owned him.

John Ward was the best and Condredge was the original. Not Randall Cunningham.

The best part was the ending...IMO.

The last segement was spectacular with the Lester McClain part and the montage at the end and the Cam Newton thing were top notch.

And of course, objectively, it isn't going to be quite as good as 30 for 30. Those are made by professional directors, this was made by Kenny Chesney.

hate to be too geeky, but it was lame that they used footage of the 1973 Tennessee-Alabama game at Legion Field on ABC insinuating the '72 game when his fumble led to Alabama's 17-10 was televised, when they had Chris Schenkel's voice over and showed the tv graphics of Tennessee vs Alabama. They also showed footage from the same '73 game with Bryant being carried off and taken to midfield when describing Holloway's last game vs Alabama and Bryant, which was in Knoxville in a 28-6 loss in 1974.

I know it was about football and QB's but I cannot believe they didn't mention he was a three time letterman at SS for the Vols' baseball team and All-American in 1975.

Why did the dude play professional football when baseball was his favorite sport?

Good question. I'm sure some MLB team drafted him again in '75,or however it would legally have worked with what Montreal did in 1971. Guy was an amazing athlete. All-SEC SS and QB. Other than Archie Manning, I can't think of many guys who have done that.
