In the south it's baseball, in the north it's hockey. It isn't close either.

I believe cawlidge hawkey draws more overall on average than college baseball so it wins the tiebreaker.

Yeah, I believe attendance is better for college hockey.

I still find that REALLY hard to believe. I mean maybe if the basketball team is shite and the baseball team is good (wait...it's starting to make sense). Never mind....

We had 17,000 fans show up for our last women's basketball game (more than our men's team -- at least until KY comes to town). Lady Gamecocks are ranked #1 in the country. Everybody loves a winner -- even in Dawn Staley's first year we drew less than 2,000 per game.

. . . but yeah, baseball is bigger in South Carolina -- and pretty much the rest of the South as well.

Here in Minnesota, it's definitely hockey. The games frequently sell out in a 10,000 seat arena.
