Baseball beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Just look at attendance figures for national championship games.

So your argument is based on attendance at one game a year? As an aside, anybody thinking attendance drives anything in today's college athletic landscape is stuck in 1970.

I'm sorry you hate America

I love baseball. It's clearly #2 in my book. This thread wasn't asking for personal opinions though.

Gymnastics and Equestrian are pretty big here.

The answer is woman's basketball.

Ridiculous
Both venues sell out. The fact that the baseball championship is in the same city every year helps a lot.

Easily women's basketball. Followed by baseball and hockey.

Everyone knows baseball, and WBB are the only 2 sports that matter.

Why only mention LSU? We're not the only fanbase that cares about it

I've still never met anyone IRL that actually gives a shite about college baseball (this includes LSU, Ole Miss fans, etc). I think the baseball thing on this board is like a group think/echo chamber type deal.

Baseball is in the spring when it's just getting nice out. I know people who went because you can sit outside on a nice day and drink beer, but none of them ACTUALLY cared that much. With basketball, you have to really care to go because it's usually shitty weather outside, there's no tailgating. Basically, there's no reason to go if you're not into the game itself.

That's just a reflection on you and your shitty friends

This post leads me to believe that you need help dressing yourself. Some of the worst logic/reasoning I've ever seen.

Most of the people I'm talking about aren't even my friends, just people I've met or aquaintances or clients or whatever else. I very loosely follow college baseball, and every time I've attempted to discuss it people look at me like I sprouted a second head. The fact is that if you live in BR or Oxford I'm sure baseball is the talk of the town come spring. But away from those locations and even LSU and Ole Miss fans don't really care. Because it's not really about the baseball.

Not really. After a shitty winter, people are itching to get outside on a nice day. Baseball allows that.
