5th Year senior. 3rd as full-time starter. FWIW, it seems like he has been here forever to me too.

Brantley will be the best in tSEC by far.

He will be much better than Tebow and put up huge numbers through the air

A toss-up between Bray and Wilson, with Bray having a slight edge because of his added experience. Still, Wilson will have some great returning receivers, and having both Davis and Johnson back at RB will help make his life a bit easier. I might've included Murray, but losing Green is going to HURT. Similarly, Garcia losing Jeffery is going to hurt. (OK, I don't think Jeffery can go pro yet, but I still think Garcia will trail the others).

Isn't Jeffrey a sophomore?

Love hearing the praise about Bray.

My bad. I just figured he HAD to be going pro after the season he had.

Any thoughts?

Not sure who will be considered the "best" because there are several very good ones in the SEC. However, I've seen all the Hog QBs several times and we are in very good shape regardless of who we put on the field. Right now Tyler Wilson has the inside track but don't be surprised if Jacoby Walker doesn't supplant him as the starter sometime during the season.

Walker enrolled mid-term last year and went through spring practices.

I'll take Bray with Justin Hunter, Da'Rick Rogers, and DeAnthony Arnett over Murray, and whoever the hell he'll be throwing to.

Just noticed this morning Arnett is the number 27 player on 247. pretty good.

2012=Bray throwing to that crew with what should be an outstanding offensive line. Hope we have good running backs.

I've got a question for the Wilson backers. I'm admittedly not familiar with him, so don't take my ignorance as a flame. I know he came in when Mallet was hurt and looked REALLY good. But how much PT has he gotten? Murray has started a full year now and looked flat out awesome. Are people putting so much stock in Wilson because he played well in a few games? Did he play at all last year?

This is why I put Murray above Wilson "right now".

Murray has a full season in the SEC under his belt. Wilson does not.

Wilson played in 2 games in 2008 (11-of-22 passes for 69 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions) but was injured and got a medical redshirt. He played in 5 games in 2009 (22-of-36 with 218 yards and two touchdowns). He got a lot of snaps during Spring practice last year, because Mallett was out with an injury. In HS, he passed for over 8,000 yards and 93 touchdown passes, winning three state championships (2 as the starter - 5A).

It's probably a combination of confidence in Petrino's system (especially with all of the weapons we have returning) and in Wilson's ability. Still, it's not a lock that Wilson will start. Jacoby Walker has looked strong, and Brandon Mitchell is a freak of an athlete.

Garcia sucks, remember?

Garcia has the best weapons surrounding him.
