Everyone is saying UGA. I just don't see it. Sure Murray is a good QB, but lets see what he can do without AJ Green. Think back to the first 4 games of this past season.

The thing about UGA will be they lose all but one starter on OL,

UGA loses one starter on the OL. Green is a huge loss. Hell I could be good throwing up to that guy.

It was also his first 4 games as a college player. Murray is a special talent.

I do think Murray is the best QB UGA has had in years. I was never impressed with Stafford, although to be fair, he played better when he was not playing USC.

Murray needs playmakers. Losing Green to the NFL is a huge blow. UGA guys, who are your receivers next year? Are they any good?

We will see just how "good" Murray is without #8 on the field.

Garcia will have the best season next year. He's already proven he's a good QB, plus Alshon, Lattimore, Gurley, Ace Sander, and company will all be back. He'll post the best numbers, easily.

Yes there will be a draft but if their is no season...they don't get paid...that will be incentive to keep some in the college ranks.

but once you declare for the draft you are no longer eligible. No matter what happens later on in the year.

I honestly thought he was done. He seems like he's been there forever.

Not LSU, if that is what you are getting at. I would just for an upgrade.

That's stupid, that's like saying "let's see what Garcia can do without Jeffrey and Lattimore" He had Green to throw to this year and looked phenomenal doing it.

Cam gets paid in college anyway. His NFL payday would just be bigger

So you're saying that being legally ineligible would stop Newton from playing?

I'm sure yall don't remember because nobody gives a rats arse about tech, but in Reggie Ball's last year he couldn't play in their bowl game against WV so they brought in the backup. A small white dude named Taylor Bennett. I believe he threw for over 300 yards, mostly by chunking it deep to Calvin Johnson. However, no one thought he was a good QB just because of that.

With Murray, you can't just look at his numbers on paper and say "oh, well it's just because of AJ". If you've actually watched him play a game you can see how good he is, as a freshman no less. His poise, decision making, scrambling ability, accuracy, touch on the deep ball, etc. should prove that he is already a great QB. The question isn't "Who will put up the best numbers next year"...that would take Murray out because without AJ his numbers likely will dip. It's who's the best QB, and AJ or no AJ Murray has proven that he is one of the best if not the best coming back for next year.

Barrett Trotter is the second coming of Cam Newton. That 35 yard scramble in the 4th quarter of the SECCG was vintage Newton.

One of the best? Absolutely. THE best? That would be Garcia.

I watched USC more than I usually do this past season and there were long stretches of games where I thought, " Wow, Murray is already 10x the decision-maker that Garcia is." Murray made plenty of mistakes of his own this year, but I think he will continu eto mature quite well. However, losing Green and Durham will hurt, althought I do think King will step up and you might see Orson Charles shift out wide and bring in other TEs on the field at the same time.

He actually didn't make that many. Only 6 INTs (compared to 24 TDs) as a freshman. That's amazing.
