I do hate auburn. I don't think you need to explain yourself with big words like Convey.

You will only confuse the Gumps.

Which one was more recent?

Your most recent undefeated season?

Or your most recent winless-in-the-SEC season?

Considering you went winless two years ago I would probably say that is more recent.

Define over rated.

Let's go over this

They return 4/5 O Line on what was arguably the best unit in the country last year.

They didn't lose any receivers worth noting

They return their key to system in Marshall

Their whole RB core got PT plus they got two studs coming in
IDK about their TE/H-Back situation I know prosch was an animal.

Defense

Their D-Iine will Be Scary
Their LB have a year plus in the system with solid recruiting efforts there.

DBs is the only worry, which they have veterancy if I'm not mistaken.

Quit trolling or being stupid.

Come on dude. Malzhan is an offensive genius and he know how to surround himself with winners and recruiters. He's also one of the best motivators around. Auburn is gonna be a top ten team as long as Gus is around.

Yeah, Auburns overrated. Until somebody does something about it however you can call AU the SEC CHAMPION.

I think Auburn will be a more complete/better team this year with a worse record than last year. The schedule is ridiculous this year.

I tend to agree. Both sides of the ball will be in the second year of the systems. That will help with the knowledge of what the coaches want. But like you said, the schedule is absolutely brutal. Who knows though? If our guys can get some key early wins and build team chemistry...........

They're gonna be who they were last year.

While it's year two of the system look at guys they lost
Mason
Robinson
Kozan
Ford
Lawson

Those are some play makers.

The other problem is their greatest strength is WR, but how consistency can marshall get them the ball?

They'll get it in sync late, but they tripped up a couple times by October

The OL and DL will definitely be the strength. I'm not so sure that Lawson is out for the year. Losing Kozan for the year hurts. We will be replacing GRob with a very solid player, in fact he was one of the top rated OL coming out of HS. He has been through hell with his health, but it appears he has come through that with flying colors. Mason is another big loss, but our RB stable is deeeepppp. Again, I think we will have a better overall team, but the schedule is ridiculously hard.

Unfortunately, I agree.

Losing Lawson and Kozan have really put a damper on my expectation. Hopefully I'm over-reacting.

Everyone is pulling for Shon Coleman

I hate we lost him, since he's from Olive Branch and all, but I seriously hope that kid has an excellent season and career.

Tre Mason was a heckuva RB and seemed to get stronger as the season went along. He will be missed. However, in the same vein as a Texas Tech QB, Malzahn produces "system" RBs. The dude always churns out 1000-yard rushers.

Gus Malzahn 1000-yard rushers as an OC and HC
2006 - OC at Arkansas - Darren McFadden, 1647 yards; Felix Jones, 1168 yards
2007 - OC at Tulsa - Tarrion Adams, 1247 yards
2008 - OC at Tulsa - Tarrion Adams, 1523 yards
2009 - OC at Auburn - Ben Tate, 1362 yards
2010 - OC at Auburn - Cam Newton, 1473 yards; Michael Dyer, 1093 yards
2011 - OC at Auburn - Michael Dyer, 1242 yards
2012 - HC at Arkansas State - David Oku, 1080 yards
2013 - HC at Auburn - Tre Mason, 1816 yards; Nick Marshall, 1068 yards

You're reading that correctly. In his eight seasons as OC or HC, Gus Malzahn has produced eleven 100-yard rushers. That's unreal.

Y'all will be just fine on that front.

You do mean 1,000 yards right.

And one 5th of masons yards came against one team.

Exactly!! Had an Auburn fan tell me yesterday that he is very confident that AU beats LSU by double digits this year. I asked him why he was so confident since AU lost to the P&G the last two years. His reply is that AU should have won the last two years.
