UF is the swing game, IMO. It all depends on how good they are this year. Both schedules are very tough.

They will be so banged after October that November could be a nightmare, thus wanting to forget it ever happened. Comparing the two though, Tennessee's is bad. And where is this cupcake you speak of? They have USCe, Moo State and LSU. I sure as hell wouldn't want that October even with a bye

Tennessee's is tougher b/c Auburn did what Gus has to have. Auburn pattycaked their schedule. They don't have any of their tougher games back to back. Get all summer to prep for Arkansas. Having a Samford cakewalk as their 11th game before Bama is bush league. All 4 of their OOC games are down from the last couple seasons.

AU because they'll have to play UGA/USC twice or +UF.

Counts chickens.........

ARK, 13LSU, 29MSU, 20aTm, 21K-State

vs

27UF, UK, 26Mizz, Vandy, 3Oklahoma

All other conference games are common opponents. Cupcakes are cupcakes.

I think UF and Mizz equal out aTm and MSU. As well as Ark and UK. So it comes down to a combo of K-State and LSU vs Vandy and Oklahoma. Its splitting hairs but I have to give the tougher schedule to Auburn because of the extra top 25 team on the schedule. The only reason its splitting hairs is because Oklahoma is 3.

UT has NEVER gone 3-9 and has NEVER gone 4-8. In fact, us and ohio state are the only 2 teams left in the country to never have lost more than 7 games in one season. Do the world a favor and stop shitting on your keyboard. Is Missouri even in the SEC?

Yeah, but UT has lost 7 games 5 of the last 6 seasons. I feel your pain though. I lived through the 1997-2006 10 year drought. Every program goes through the tough times. I think last year was the end of UT's drought. UT lost to UGA by 3 and Vandy by 4 last year. Flip those 2 games and the optimism would be great for this year. I see the Vols making a Bowl this year.

Removing common opponents for visual clarity:
(auburn)
Arkansas
San Jose
K-State
Lou Tech
LSU
MSU
A&M
Samford

(Tennessee)
Utah St
Ark St
OU
Florida
Chattanooga
UK
Mizzou
Vandy

I went into this thread thinking the answer was clearly auburn. But it's much closer than I thought, and it may be Tennessee. LSU is the big team on auburn's schedule that I felt set them apart. But just about anyone outside the SEC would say that OU in Norman is just as tough, if not tougher. A&M for auburn, Mizzou for Tennessee. Wash. Florida could be strong, and Tennessee's nonconference is still as good or better than auburn's even after removing OU.

This is very, very close IMO. I'm going to say Tennessee because I believe Florida is a 9 win team. If I'm wrong there, it's auburn.

Both have difficult stretches of back to back to back opponents. Even in that regard. Okla gives Ole Miss overall nod.

We don't play the two worst teams in the sec -- Vandy and Kentucky. Both teams have ridiculous road schedules.

I'll give the edge to UT bc if the preseason hype OU is getting... Though time will tell.
