agreed, I do think he could surprise and be good in a short while. it is all up to him and his work ethic.

I don't know what "change" from last year that was suppose to happen with another year under Sarky, but he still looks like Locker 2009.

His 6.5 YPC is just pedestrian, I think he needs to get way from Sarky ASAP....

Rushing yards for a QB in college mean absolutly nothing to pro scouts. NOTHING.

I knew I shouldn't use the YPC acronym, it can be confused with different things.

I meant it as Yards Per Completion...

LSU die hard here. I hope and expect we will crush the Hogs. However, Mallet has no known signif off the field issues. To make up crap about such is ludicrous. Just saying you are waiting for stuff to come out without any knowledge of stuff is weak. I don't like his persona much either but so what.

He is a worthy competitor. A damn good qb. Hope we take his head off.

Mallet's personality translating to the next level is a concern whether hog fans want to believe it or not. he doesn't have off the field issues, but he does act like he's black and there are perceived maturity issues there, which is a big deal when investing that kind of money into the face of your franchise. they want to be sure this guy can gain the respect of an NFL locker room.

I think the intangible issues are the reason Luck has a leg up on Mallet right now more than the mobility difference, neither guys is going to be a running qb in the NFL and mallet actually has decent pocket mobility.

As far as you know, Mallet's lexicon may make him more of a team member. Your perception of him is not necessarily the NFL perception of him. I do know that he is a fierce competitor with a very accurate strong arm. That's what I would want my qb to be.

Enough said about this from me. I hope he has a very bad game tomorrow and is on the dirt most of the game.

If it were my pick id take Luck, then mallet or locker. I think all 3 of them could start in the NFL oneday.

Right now i'd say

1) Luck
2) Mallet
3) Locker

Newton is a huge wildcard. He could easily work his way into the top 10 picks.
