First QB Taken? Luck?

Also, who is first between Mallet and Cam? Both have off the field issues.

Mallet is your prototypical NFL QB but Newton's raw athletic ability is hard to ignore.

I would take Andrew Luck in the first round. He's going to be a very solid QB for some NFL team. I wouldn't touch Mallett or Cam in the first round and it has nothing to do with off the field issues. I just don't like how their game translates to the next level.

I don't see any way possible it isn't Mallet.

I think Luck is going to be a really legit QB in the league at some point in his career.

I saw on ESPN where Newton would not go until late third or early fourth round. Luck was projected first round top three. Another QB was up in the first round and I think Mallet was early second rounder. It was on ESPNU aboout a week ago.

andrew luck will be the #1 overall pick whenever he declares. hes the best QB prospect since peyton manning. question is- will he declare if he doesnt like the team picking first- buffalo?- and will harbaugh stay another year or move up?

this. both have lots of character concerns, and fair or not, vince young has not helped out newton in freak-QB-athlete-and-their-pro-potential category

a QB wildcard is jake locker. unpolished, but skilled, athletic, and no off the field concerns

Thats him. they had him in the first round twelfth pick. I have to correct myself about Mallet, they had him fourth pick in first round.

Luck will be the first pick if he turns pro. I've heard rumblings of Harbaugh being the 49'ers first choice for HC if they get rid of Singletary.

Cam, because:

"there has never been a player with his size, speed, arm strength, accuracy, or chage of direction all in one package"

Playing in the big 12, crystal meth, making his car payment on time, and other fabrications that have been brought to you by the SECrant...

Luck.

Mallett and Newton are two completely different types of quarterbacks with their own distinct flaws.

Luck has possibilities
