a little.. I mean the fact that we were even playing USClite meant we were having a horrible year. The stretch from 1999-2001 when OSU played (and lost) to USClite...was the worst 3 year stretch in Ohio State football history since the early 1900's...and the fact that USC was even in a bowl..and won their first ever...is now considered your 'glory years'.

on the flip side...maybe I ought to thank USClite for those losses. OSU administration finally got fed up with losing to inferior programs and realizing that 8-4, 7-5 is NOT ever going to be good enough at Ohio State. Since the loss to USClite in 2001...OSU has won 2 national championships..played for 2 more..won 9 B10 titles and is one of only a half handfull of schools that can even be mentioned in the same sentence as Alabama.
