The final weapon in Saban's recruiting arsenal is his wife, who was once a cheerleader for the Idamay Black Diamonds. It's still going through the courts. The defense has been trying to get the phone records/social media stuff that both girls just happened to delete and claimed to have broken phones when it was asked for.
Those texts can show intent and may well clear AJ and Williams but I don't know if I'd say it was all overblown. We don't know enough yet.
However, the title IX stuff was completely overblown and about procedure in the first place -- not the university doing something nefarious but rather did every 'i' get dotted and 't' crossed procedure.

One is going to go down as tGOAT. The other didn't win shite and is on the verge of having his program carpet bombed back to irrelevancy by the NCAA after only 5 years.

No, sir. YOU are the delusional one. Enjoy the scenery of college sports and quit yer bitchin' when someone else has your number. It is NOT LSU that is the only one to be whipped by "Bama. Just as with the Bear, few have the parts in place to beat them. I don't like it either! I don't care where the players come from either. Unlike the days of the Bear, there ARE limits on signings and scholarships and 'Bama (Saban) is NOT the only ones to "process" players.

Well yeah we can all say who cheats better. TBH, what gets me about the whole Freeze/OM situation is just how arrogant and downright stupid Freeze and OM regarding their cheating. Their carelessness and arrogance begged for an NCAA investigation from the very beginning.

Definitely and I think we have to treat an L1 charge as greater than a Charger since it comes from an investigatory body while still taking into account said Charger. Could be a fun offseason diversion.
