Serious question. I believe it's still Saban. He is a master at pulling strings with the NCAA, though and at this point is almost untouchable.

Look how mediocre Bama was before he got there and now he just reels out number one classes every single year.

It woukd take a Penn State Sandusky type scenario to actually cause them to seriously investigate, though.

Saban works in the grey area that isn't specifically illegal, but it eventually becomes illegal. He then moves on to the next vague rules area and exploits it.

Funniest thing is this UT fan doesn't even realize why they were mediocre before Saban.

Butch Jones is the obvious answer; he's cheated a real football coach out of a job.

I realize that Fulmer helped to get them bombed for cheating before Saban was there. That wasnt the only reason they were mediocre, during that time though.

The level of cheating now, though is at a Bear Bryant level. Bear cheated more in tge grey area, though.

Saban flat out cheats and gets away with it.

You should probably do some investigative journalism and unleash it for all the world to see. Shouldn't be all that difficult if it is so brazen.

The machine was built before Saban got there. He just had the balls to turn the key, and tell his network that he needed players by any means necessary, and that the NCAA would not be a problem if they did a reasonable job of covering tracks.

Freeze didn't have the template that Saban had and it burned him. Hugh brought a knife to the gun fight.

Freeze handing Saban few of his loses each year is priceless, though.

Head to head...I suppose he cheated better for a while.

You something is up when highly ranked recruits from across the us are deciding to attended that backwards podunk little place.

Tennessee self-reported 18 NCAA violations from May 2015 through January 2016, all of them Level III violations, according to a report provided to the News Sentinel in response to a public records request.

Here's just a sampling of the allegations in the report: Five athletes, including former football players A.J. Johnson, Michael Williams and Riyahd Jones and an unidentified current player, accused of sexual assault. Violation of Title IX laws and creating a hostile sexual environment for female students. The blame for this environment, according to the lawsuit, falls at the top of the Tennessee administration, including chancellor Jimmy Cheek, athletics director Dave Hart and head football coach Butch Jones. Investigation processes delayed until the alleged perpetrators either transferred or graduated.

The AJ Johnson thing was overblown. Just a physcho ex pressing false charges.

Bama straight up buys its entire team. Talk about apples and oranges.
