I forgot golf. Bronson Burgoon needs to be on our list. He had the greatest shot in the history of any level of golf to win us the national chamionship in 2009 (pretty sure it was 09)

Unless he aced a par 5, that's a pretty bold claim.

All good players. Patrick Peterson is a good one to consider. Theriot was not the most athletic. He wasn't even the best middle infielder to play at LSU. Aaron Hill or Larson perhaps. Probably Hill. You think Augustus is a top 10 athlete at that school? Over decorated Olympic sprinters? Come on. The others are hard to quibble with.

LSU would be interesting. Cannon, Peterson, Shaq, Pistol Pete, Lolo Jones, tons of baseball history....

Baseball history?

Think track and field too. While you're at it, look up this guym who helped LSU to the 1933 national championship:

Jack Torrance

LSU has historically the best athletic program overall in the SEC - and it's not even close.

I'd have to assume Auburn has some female swimming legends.

Theriot won us the CWS and won a WS on the last run. I can agree that maybe in the field there are better choices, but guy is clutch. Augustus, meh, i could take her off but she lead the Lady Tigers to what, 3 final 4s in a row?? Now she is lighting up the WNBA(apparently cause God knows i dont watch that crap). I put Peterson on since he is just a freak of an athlete. He isn't decorated outside like most of the rest of that list.

LSU's list would be tough to limit to 10...

T&F would be a huge list (Duncan might go down as one of the best ever, Thompson, Davis, etc)
Baseball...where do you start...
Football players who are current NFL HOF.
Basketball...Pistol, Petit, Shaq, Jackson...

W Basketball...NCAA POY Augustus

Probably some of our softball players too. Amanda Scarborough, Megan May, or whomever was leading us to titles in the 80's

I actually had Danielle Adams on my original list.

Sydney Colson, Amanda Scarborough, Megan Gibson, and Shawn Andaya (Pulliam) would definitely be on my top 15 list (along with tennis player Shon Madden).

Don't disagree with any that you added, KaiserSoze.
A truncated list of 10 is damn hard to create, huh?
