How good is he actually? From the times I’ve seen him play, he’s a pretty good athlete with an average arm.

I really don’t see the fascination with him?

I mean, he'd be an upgrade at QB right now for a majority of SEC programs (including UF).

For some maybe? I don’t know. Seems he’s being overrated quite a bit for being a “playoff QB” when there are a lot of QBs that could have taken Clemson to the playoffs against that schedule.

He’s just not a very talented passer imo

I’d take Jake Bentley over him.

And that’s saying something

So, you wouldn't want him to step in for a year after Lock graduates?

I just can't wait to see the bottom feeding SEC teams fight over him.

The melt will be a sight to see for the loser.

He's a good athlete who struggles throwing down field.

I’d pick Mond over him from what I saw first hand a few weeks ago. Even though he was probably the reason that Clemson beat a&m.

He is a good QB in the right system. I think Arkansas and Florida would get a definite upgrade at the QB position if he showed up.

He would not be a good fit at Alabama or UGA (or ever be able to start there with the current QBs).

Another poster mentioned Bentley being better... It depends on the system and opponent. He doesn't commit many turnovers, very effective in designed runs, and is a capable passer.

I feel like he has some legit upside, just needs the right coach to fit his skill set.

If you are going to run the QB a lot he can be effective, but he’s not winning you many games with his arm

He is not as good as Jalen Hurts. Jalen is a better runner and passer than Bryan.

I think he’s a more talented football player than Bentley.
But i don’t think he would fit our system.

You should look at their completion % for 2017.
