I thought it was football but it looks like almost every softball super regional has an SEC team

The SEC has made the right moves in trying to carve their path in softball, but the PAC still has more CWS championships then the rest of the conferences combined. They're definitely one of the most dominant this season though.

Just goes to show how much talent overall that our student athletes have in this conference. I think all members of the SEC can be proud of that. We are always well represented whenever faced with national competition, be it in Football and baseball, to softball, golf and gymnastics. Good competition is always very entertaining too at the collegiate level, I don't care if it is synchronized swimming or ultimate frisbee, haha.

It's hard to argue what's happening in softball right now.

I found myself watching the UT vs FSU games and was surprised at how much I enjoyed watching that series.

We will have a minimum of half of the field from the SEC (thanks to UF/UK sharing a SR).

LSU is leading theirs, and Mizzou isn't out of it yet. We could have as many as 6 of 8.

Now that all of the SEC schools are rich, I see our conference overwhelming the PAC in most of the minor sports. They've had the money to dominate until now.

Look out PAC, the SEC coming.

Sign me up! One day I would love to say to someone:

Hello. My name is Mister Tee.

I have a Bachelors in "General BBQ", a Masters in "Pit-Cooking with Various Combustions" (aka...cooking w/ different types of wood) and a Ph.D in "Regional Sauces" (so many tastes from state to state).

I would continue my degree forever.

Auburn placed 7th.

Don't get used to it. Our lake "Referees" are working on it right now. A "freak wave here and there".................

The depth of the conference in softball has really been elevated over the last 5 years or so. Very impressive showing by the SEC

Far and away we are the best track and field conference in America. To the point where someone other then an SEC team winning a title is noteworthy.

After that... probably baseball and football fighting it out. We are getting much better at softball (well Arkansas wasn't this year) and our gymnastics programs are nothing to sneer at either.

Basketball seems to be weak link at the moment and both the women's and men's sides seem to be improving with the new influx of money. We are a pretty damn solid conference in all sports going forward.

Softball has been impressive. I think Hoops will definitely get better with some of the coaching hires brought on board (Howland, Barnes, White), which I thought was an issue. FB is definitely #1.

Probably baseball and/or softball. I don't follow those sports until the CWS comes around and then I just watch the team with the hottest pitchers..lol.

The north dominates winter sports and you would expect the south to dominate the spring sports(in other words the warm areas of the country) since not all northern schools even have softball or baseball.

High school baseball and softball season up here basically lasts a month and a half that is it.
