The only Southern state not already in the SEC is Carolina(refuse to use that "N" word for a Southern state).
We already have 2 non-Southern states may as well add a third and bring in UVA along with UNC

I realize it was split by the "Yankees" but the people of Virginia were already talking about splitting before the war even started. The people in the west were poor mountain folk and the people in the east were Aristocrats. They had nothing in common, and they really disliked each other.
