Florida--obvious first choice
TAMU-- You had Bama at home, LSU was rebuilding, nobody anticipated Auburn or Mizzou's seasons this year. You had to be thinking NC run this year. Ya'll have got to be really disappointed.
Arkansas-- Despite the fact that SEC coaches picked us last in the SECw, most of us Hog fans thought we'd win 6 or so games. The jury won't come in on the Bielema hire for another year or two.
Georgia-- Thought you guys would make a real run at winning the SEC. Hate the injury bug got y'all.

Florida lapped the field on this one.

Then Arky, Ga, aggie, LSU (just because they lost to the runts).

I'm sure Bama fans will consider this season disappointing if AJ doesn't win the Heisman. Without it, they can't lay claim to what I call the triple crown of college football. The division title, the national championship and the highest individual award in college football..... the Heisman.

Definitely LSU. They thought they were natty bound and their defense would be better than last year. The delusion in southern Louisiana is strong.

Let's see...................

Preseason AP Poll:

LSU #12 AP
LSU #13 USA Today
5 SEC Teams ranked ahead of LSU.

After Week 14:

LSU #15 AP
LSU #15 USA Today
4 SEC Teams ranked ahead of LSU.

Yep..... LSU, is by far, the biggest disappointment in the SEC, so far, this season.

No doubt about it.

Couldn't possibly be A&M or Florida who, both, were ranked in the Preseason Top Ten and who, both, lost to LSU and are ranked below LSU right now.

Yep. LSU.

I think you mean 8-4, not 9-3.

Answer to the question is Florida, by a mile

ETA: After the TCU game if you talked to any LSU fan you would have thought they were going to win the national championship This post was edited on 11/27 at 11:49 pm

A couple rantards =\= "any LSU fan"... Before the season most everyone knew losing 11 to the draft would hurt. People were excited to have a championship caliber offense. Which we do.

Last year lsu lost 3 starting olinemen Starting rb Starting cb 2 starting Lbs I don't care what program you are, you can't sustain that. Lsu losing only 3 games should've gotten Miles coach of the year.

Bama lost:

3 all American olinemen
starting rb
all American cb
starting te
starting ss
starting lb
starting ng
starting de

Looks like SOME can sustain

The overwhelming majority of LSU fans believed there would be no fall off on defense and it would most likely be better. That the guys coming in to be starters were experienced to the level of most returning seniors because there was defensive rotation last year. Then came the bitching about preseason rankings. How many swamp kittens started threads about how they were basically a top 3 team with probably the best defense in the country? Couple that with Cam Cameron who was magically going to make Mett a top 3 QB in the country, I would think it was safe to say 90% of LSU fans thought they were going to win the national championship.

It's cute though. Their excitement over a win against us is like an Arkansas fan excited about a Golden Boot upset.
