oh i know there's a selection bias, just throwing some numbers out there. i'm looking for a comprehensive list of median SAT/GPAs for SEC schools right now.

Because a Federal judge decided that it was "racist" to have separate standards of admissions for historically black schools and historically white ones.....

Sounds like the judge is the racist one for assuming black people need a crutch to do as well as white people.

not looking real hard though. but i'm suppose to be working on a memo and i feel like wasting time instead. i may have to get back to work soon and leave the numbers for someone else to find

median SAT/ACT/GPA is obviously going to be the best indicator, though.

Well, he may be racist but he's apparently right.

MS State and Ole Miss have the same admission requirements and have almost identical with avg GPA's and test scores. If anything, State is harder to get into than Ole Miss.

Though anyone who isn't half-retarded could get into either with ease.

Yeah, wow I just went a fact checked that shite.

How Ole Miss had an average GPA of 3.34 and ACT of 23 with these admission requirements is beyond me.

Good God, that's embarrassing.

I guess that this is what happens when you cater to the LCD.

I don't even see the point of letting people in with scores that low...shite if you make less than 20 on the ACT you're probably not going to excel in college let alone an 18 or 16.

That's why Ole Miss and State have graduation rates in the 60%'s.

Georgia 560 650 560 660 560 650
LSU 520 640 550 650 490 620
South Carolina 530 630 550 650 - -
Tennessee 520 630 530 640 - -
Auburn 520 620 550 650 520 620
Arkansas 500 630 520 640 - -
Kentucky 490 610 500 630 480 590

ACT scores, the schools are a lot closer.

and holy shite, Vandy's bottom 25the percentile ACT score is higher than every other university's 75th percentile score except for UF (which it ties at a 30)

Nobody in the South takes the SAT, unless they are trying to get into a private school somewhere.....at least that was the case when I was in high school....so that info is basically worthless....
