I must apologize. When I read the post that started this argument I thought it said that 08 UF's Defense was insanely better than than 11 Bama's defense.
I still think '11 Bama is the best SEC BCS Champ. Of course I am biased. But, I definitely don't find it laughable for someone to think '08 UF is better.

Common opponent - Va Tech
USC opened the season vs them (24-13W but trailed at the half) and Auburn closed the season vs them (16-13W in the Sugar Bowl and led the whole game).
Who knows who would win, it's all speculation. But '04 USC had its share of close calls.

Gotcha. We cool :P. I was just shocked about the laughing at it. Was like come on man..we were loaded that year! No our defense wasn't better though I agree 11 Bama defense was just insane.
