Your secondary was bad. USC's was not, and that defense overall was better than Oregon's in 2010. End of story. Hell, Darron Thomas threw for 360-something passing yards.

Bama 11 is the only one that I would have any confidence in.
That 04 USC team was incredible. 01 Canes, 04 USC, and 11 Bama are the best BCSChamps IMO.

They almost lost to region state that year, though....hell, they should've lost to a horrible stanford. They got calls against vtech and ucla as well. Auburn 2004 would've been a much better game.

No one beats the 2004 USC team in the title game that night. Auburn never getting the opportunity to play in that game saved the SEC the embarrassment of having its best team demolished.

I'll listen to arguments about 11 bama beating 04 USC, but what the frick makes some of you guys think 04 auburn would beat them?
Teams like 01 Miami, 04 USC, 05 Texas and 08 Florida were juggernauts on both offense and defense. LSU 03 had a great defense, but would you really put their offense anywhere near the caliber of the teams listed above?

Florida's defense had as many pro players, as good of a ranking, and an insanely better offense than 2011 Bama. They wouldn't qualify as well?

'08 UF D was a beast, but 2011 Bama is possibly the best college defense ever.
