Easily the first one in 1793 has to rank as the greatest win

I would think the 2011 championship would be one of the most hollow championships Alabama has ever won. I mean yall didnt even wins the western division or the SEC championship and really got back into the game on the coat tails of ESPN pumping yall with everyone else shatting the bed.
Grant it yall beat us pretty good in the national title game but yall couldnt get it done in the regular season.

People gives us crap for a two loss national title but .... I dont know I would think one of the others would mean more to Bama fans.

If you could bottle up and sell the butthurt oozing from this post, I bet you could make a truckload of money over in Texas.

If we'd lost to someone else in the regular season, maybe.

Yes, '92 was a relief and a dominant performance, and '09 was perfect in every way.

But this team, with the exception of 1 game, was way more dominant during the regular season, and more dominant in the NC game. Texas made it interesting, and Miami scored and got a few yards on us. We remember that as domination--and it was--but that was as much about turnovers as anything. Our offense was very bad, and I think Barker threw two passes in that game for picks and didn't throw again.

We were better this year on both sides of the ball than the '92 team, and arguably equal or better in every way than the '09 team.

So that's why this win was so satisfying, and maybe not as hollow as you might think.
