Well, USCe, Arky, Mizzou and A&M, obviously.

Tulane and GIT never should have left.

The more teams there are the more teams there are to recruit against and it weaken the teams more. Kind of like the conference is getting watered down. I wouldn't mind going to 10 with 9 conference games so everyone plays everyone else.

10 was fine, 12 was perfect, 14 is too many.

I said that from the very beginning. It was purely done for $ and business reasons, it's bad for the fans and the sports.

14 if we went to 9 games. Otherwise kick out Arkansas and State.

I could live with this too. Although I think State and scJr. are the weakest of weak links.

I would actually prefer 10 and play them all. No offense to the newbies

Well if we're going to do this based only on merit, let's take the best school in each state.

WEST

Alabama > Auburn
LSU > Tulane
Texas A&M > Texas
Ole Miss > Moo State
Arkansas unopposed

EAST

Georgia > Ga Tech
Florida State > Florida
Clemson > South Carolina
Tennessee > Vanderbilt
Missouri unopposed

Kentucky = Yankee = OUT

There's your 10 team SEC. You want 12, add North Carolina and Virginia and throw Missouri West.

Flagship in each state. You've expanded the SEC footprint and stayed at 12. Perfect.

What these people don't understand is that CFB is about traditions and pagentry not TV sets for advertising. It sucks for the real fans but the powers that be don't seem to care

yea, the initial idea had everyone in favor because of SEC pride and we were like the one's kickin' arse. now that we've added two teams not from the southeast and we don't get to make as many cool road trips to venues we love and play kick arse teams from the other division it sucks. I will truly miss playing Georgia and Tennessee. you can't have a southeast region w/o fricking Georgia or Tennessee. and don't tell me playing at Georgia once every 10 years is good. I love me some LSU/UGA games. I truly feel we, as fans, are being sacrificed for more revenue (although each teams share went down this year) and bama get's to play ut EVERY YEAR and auburn gets to play uga EVERY YEAR. I am only one fan, but the SEC already is not as special to me as it has been THE LAST 55 YEARS.

Not old enough to know what it was like when it was just 10 teams, so I'll go with 12.
