or a bad one depending on how you look at it.

The eternal question is, what made Manziel suddenly "click"? Sumlin? Experience? Desperation? Promises of free blowjobs for every 10 yard scramble? It would make a pretty good debate. Well, it would make a pretty good debate somewhere else, anyway. On the Rant, it would quickly turn into a bunch of gay and hick jokes.

Dak was the top candidate for the more than half of the season.

Jevan Snead was a front runner for 3 weeks. Can we claim him as a Heisman candidate?

All I know is that Brandon Allen was so bad that someone set his truck on fire year before last. Enter Dan Enos and Brandon Allen is the #1 QB in the country. Zero to hero in one year.

Hard to fathom that Les Miles has
been mentioned twice.

Hes not a head coach now and i absolutely hate the guy but kiffin turned crompton into a player that atleast made an nfl team for a minute, after spending three years being about as productive as Treon Harris

I think you would prefer a QB coach develop the QBs?

Kevin Sumlin and Noel Mazzone are the best combo hands down.

Dak finished eighth in the final vote in 2014.

Wasn't Ole Miss like #3 in preseason ranking that year? Of course , they fell off.

Yeah but they got beat by Ole Ball Coach in the 2nd nationally televised Thursday night game of the year. Ball Coach went in dry & then bragged about beating the 4th ranked team in the nation to Erin Andrews after the game.

You've developed a pattern of saying whatever dumbshit comes to your mind with actually thinking it through. That's a problem for you.

It really depends on what you're going for. Are you looking for game breakers or consistency? As far as consistency at the position, Nick Saban and Mark Richt have been stellar at keeping a competent player under center.

When was the last time Alabama had a QB that truly sucked? I'd have to go with 2004 when Spencer Pennington took over in the third game of the season after Croyle tore his ACL.

of the current coaches, it's between mullen and bert

both have had one QB absolutely show out in the SEC.

but Bert wins because he had 1 year of Russell Wilson which was his best year

he also developed Scott Tolzien who is still in the NFL with indy

Bert has 3 QBs in the nfl currently which is more than any other sec head coach

Being that I am a Denver Broncos fan, that doesn't bother me one bit.
