It also didn't seat 100K+ in 1921. Location is all that matters for this narrative.

So does the sec rant think lsu is historically not a successful program?
When looking at the numbers LSU is historically on par with Auburn and UGA. But that doesn't take into account the fact that Auburn and UGA have the two strongest all-time strength of schedules of any college teams. So yes, LSU is "successful" but they're #6 of the Big 6

You are working way too hard.

How do you define par in the not-so great state of Alabama?
Just a few fun stats for LSU-Auburn:
Head-to-head- LSU 28 Auburn 21
Longest win streak- LSU 6 Auburn 4
All-Time wins- LSU 769 Auburn 747
All-Time win%- LSU .650 Auburn .631
Conference Championships- LSU 14 Auburn 12
Bowl Games- LSU 46 Auburn 39
NFL Draft picks- LSU 315 Auburn 262
1st Rd. Draft picks- LSU 38 Auburn 30
Weeks in AP Poll- LSU 574 Auburn 533
Weeks at #1 in AP Polls- LSU 30 Auburn 9
On par?

Bowl, once again you show your stupidity.
Guess where Ole Miss and MSU both played LSU for nearly 30 years straight?
In the early 1900's Tulane and LSU started a race. This race featured "Who can build the largest stadium in the country." Bottom line is when Ole Miss or State were at 10,000 capacity, LSU would be at 30,000+. When they were at 16-26,000 capacity, LSU would be at 60,000+.
They made more the 3x the gate revenue playing in BR every year than they would playing in their home stadiums, or in Jackson.

I would put LSU middle of the pack of the Big 6 but it's really all subjective after Alabama being the undisputed #1 and Tennessee being #2. With that said if the Volunqueers don't get their shite together pretty soon and actually win a meaningful game, they are gonna drop out of that #2 spot

Bama is 7-8 against LSU at Bryant Denney Stadium in the modern era.

L5U - Tiger Stadium (1924-present)

As you are well aware (I'm sure), LSU numbers go up in night games to around .0785.
Bama has put a serious dent in these numbers by themselves.
From what I've been told by some oldtimers, the mystique of Tiger Stadium does not work against Bama because of an agreement the football Gods who rule over Tiger Stadium made with the big man upstairs(God Himself).
As the story goes, God agreed to let these football Gods fill tiger Stadium with a magical energy that would be extremely difficult for any visiting team to overcome with one exception...........
Any fanbase that has a collective IQ under 80 (mildly retarded), would not be affected by this magical energy for the safety of the loved ones and innocent people who may come into contact with such an emotionally fragile and unstable mass of humanity.
This is why, I believe, the numbers in Tiger Stadium are so skewed in the favor of the gumps.

Bama played a lot of its home games at Legion. Need to add those numbers for true accuracy

night games
Should not matter if a team plays at night or day. A team is judged by its record, not the game time. No other fanbase that I know of parses a home record down to 'home wins at night' like LSU fans.
Of course, you are the guys that rely on the results of 2000 to the present to self-validate. It should come as no surprise that you'd prefer to only count L5U home games that start after sundown.
Based on the OP results, I'd probably want to just count night games too if I were a Tiger fan. Maybe you can break it down further to home night games minus Bama.

Damn Vols, how about you play a fricking road game once in a while?

I just glanced at your post again and agree. Should've read it all before responding.

Because we prefer night games, used to be a tradition in Baton Rouge, so what?
