Lousiville was 5-15 on 3rd down..... Maybe you should check the stats before you assume A&M gave up a ton of 3rd downs just cause they lost.

I think Louisville was pretty bad on 3rd down. They were 0-4 on 4th and 2-9 on 3rd late in the game.

The problem was they were giving up 12 or so yards on 1st.

Oh I checked the stats. They gave up 540 yards and then with a chance to stop them after using two timeouts and an opportunity to get the ball back, Louisville ran for an easy first down on 3rd down. Sorry this thread got you rustled enough to defend A&M.

If you think Chavis was the problem last night then you know less about football than most around here.

Yeah, giving up 200+ rushing and 200+ throwing to a freshman quarterback was not a problem at all. You got me.

Hate to break the news to you, but before last night you would never have seen Vince Young, Johnny Manziel and Lamar Jackson in the same sentence.

There's at least a half dozen of them on the score board, where the threads are suppose to be started.

Gave up 27 Points. 7 points total in Q2, Q3, and Q4.

Our offense was the problem. Offensive line sucks as bad as most of the play calling. Your 3rd and Chavis stuff is just dumb within the context of the game. Louisville didn't do that much on 3rd downs. Good grief.

5-15 is pretty solid though, probably would help his 3rd down %.

BTW, I think I know you IRL. I went to the Bama game with my older cousin, who I think you know. I saw you make a post a while back about your trip to Bama, and I either met you or we did the same stuff and went the same places all weekend

I mean, Yall gave up 27 even after Louisville left 7 points on the field. A freshman qb put up nearly 500 yards of total offense.

Aggy offense was shitty as usual. Defense wasn't much better.

It was. The two turnovers in the 3rd were huge. And the complete inability of the Oline to get any push made me feel like I was watching a Mizzou game.

Your team gave up 307 yards rushing to a team that averaged 170 yards a game on the ground. And people are excusing (or in some cases celebrating) the defense. Unbelievable.

Yes, your offense sucked, but so did your defense.

Clearly...

A&M Defense allowed Louisville to set a bowl record in allowing a FRESHMAN QB to rush and pass for 200yrds+ each. Only 2 other QBs in history have done that in a bowl game.

Chavis gave up nearly 550yrds.
