By that token why did Auburn fire Chizik? He won a national title.

I will go to my grave wondering that.

Sumlin had great success at Houston.

Perhaps it nothing more than Houston having a great recruiting base with 35 miles of the campus..:.

Dale, tell me why you get worked up over a program that you have zero relations to. Why does LSU wanting to be the best they can be make you so aggravated that you creat a thread like this and then go through the trouble of looking up informatuon from prior years?
Do you envy LSU?

Actually LSU historically is behind Bama, Tennessee, Auburn and is down with Ole Miss within conference and saw Florida leap frog them in the 90s.
Before Saban ever stepped foot at LSU

LSU 7 SEC titles 1 national
AU 5 SEC titles 1 national
UF 5 SEC titles 1 national

I'm really confused why LSU fans are so anxious to destroy everything Miles has built at LSU and open up the floodgates of instate talent leaving for elsewhere just like in the 90s.

Its not working anymore.

We have no offense.

We have one of the top players in the country and scored 7 points Saturday.

Again I ask, because Miles has had past success he gets a lifetime contract??

This isn't hard.

What the frick has Miles done in the last 4 years? He's run his course here. Sorry LSU fans don't like to accept mediocrity like Razorback fans do.

I just dunno about that. I really don't. At this given point, I would take 2-3 RBs over LF, a few defensive players and even a few QBs - if we're talking "top players in the country".

EASILY 2 handfuls of players over him...

what I'm saying is that our offense is an absolute joke and Miles refuses to adapt.

He said he would change last year at the end of the season. He didn't.

Its time for him to go, his stuff is no longer working.

Our offensive game plan and play calling are a clown show.

Well, it HAS worked in the past, albeit about 4 years ago. I mean, I dunno. All of this "Fire Miles" stuff came from the 2011 BCS National Championship game. Had he won that game, would people still be irate? Legit question.

I honestly just think Alabama fans are:
(A) Spoiled shitless right now
(B) Making every other fanbase in the SEC irate that they can't win numerous championships in the span of a decade

That (B) point is really killing LSU. For example, if LSU were to lose 2 more games and end the season with 3 losses BUT beat Alabama, would the fanbase be ok with miles?

These posts are funny. Then you have threads suggesting that another SEC school should give Les a chance and there is a resounding "NO" heard from that fan base.

Yet pre-saban this only happened once.

So its impossible for programs to take a step up?

Because of their "history" they have to stay where they are, because, its their "history". carry on.
