LSU will rue the day they get rid of Les Miles. He may be a hack, but he still recruits light out. If you recruit good enough, sooner or later the talent will pull you through. Just ask Mack Brown.
So, if they can Les, who are they going to get? Tom Hermann? If Cougar High gets in the XII, he gets a 5M check. So, he probably isn't going anywhere.
Art Briles? Might as well bring in Jerry Sandusky also.
Petrino? Gary Patterson? Skip Holtz?

Nutt was fired a year removed from an SECCG appearance and 3 days following beating the #1 team in the nation on the road and an 8-4 season. He's the second winningest coach in school history.

There's absolutely ZERO chance that Mack was ever going to lead Texas back to where they wanted to be. He was clearly destroying their program with mismanagement. If anything, what Mack did to Texas is something LSU fans should take head of. In fact, it's a mirror image situation.

How has Texas's recruiting been post Mack?
They've also lost to Arkansas since firing Mack.

Arkansas fired Lou Holtz, ran off Ken Hatfield, fired Houston Nutt, fired Bobby Petrino. Do they have some sort of aversion to success? Frank Boyles retired a long time ago guys, how about some self awareness. Been a revolving door of coaches ever since like they think they should have national championship aspirations

Only one of these guys was disliked for on field performance.
The other three was fired because of off the field actions.
So what has Miles done off the field to make him such a horrible person outside of representing your program with class and bringing a positive image for LSU?
