I'm really confused why LSU fans are so anxious to destroy everything Miles has built at LSU and open up the floodgates of instate talent leaving for elsewhere just like in the 90s.

Pre-Saban (2000) LSU's last outright SEC Championship was 1986, before that? 1970. 1958 Saw an outright SEC championship and LSUs lone NC. The only time LSU won the SEC in back to back years outright was 1935 and 1936 before being blown out by Santa Clara in the bowl game.

So what exactly is it about the 1 NC and 5 outright SEC Championship in a 100+ years prior to Saban that makes what Miles is gifting LSU's program "sub par".

Miles has delivered as many NCs as LSU had prior to Saban, while winning the SEC outright two times, in other words Miles is far succeeding the potential of LSUs program, a potential that will not be met when instate players leave for better programs instead of playing for the lovable Miles.

Careful what you wish for.

Tiger droppings. It's the best they've got.

By that token why did Auburn fire Chizik? He won a national title.

The resources LSU's athletic department have and the money they are spending on staff justifies better results than an archaic system that wastes once in a generation talent.

What the frick has Miles done in the last 4 years? He's run his course here. Sorry LSU fans don't like to accept mediocrity like Razorback fans do.

And after all of that, the man just does not have it anymore. The game had passed him WAAYYY by a few years ago. So are you saying LSU should keep him forever and be happy with a Jr high offense?

Saban leaving, coming back to their "rival" and owning their arse along 4 NCs will scar them until the end of time.

I agree. He is so good I think Arky should come buy him out.

LSU has played 2nd fiddle to Bama since the conference was formed, so why is it a problem now?

Actually LSU historically is behind Bama, Tennessee, Auburn and is down with Ole Miss within conference and saw Florida leap frog them in the 90s.

But I'm sure Nebraska fans think they are one hire away from returning to the brief hey day in their history.

With all the head coaches already on staff, it's a possibility he lands in Arkansas. We really need a special teams coach.

Saban is the only other coach in this conference secure enough to hire a head coach, so maybe he goes there

Why do you get so excited when Arkansas beats LSU? Because LSU is an elite program in this era of college football.

Les needs to do two things. Fire Cam Cameron and find a QB.
