Sure you could handle playing them every year?

My suggestion would be:
West: East:
LSU Alabama
Texas Auburn
Oklahoma Florida
Texas A&M Tennessee
Arkansas Georgia
Ole Miss Vandy
Miss. St Kentucky
Missouri S Carolina

That would preserve that ever popular series for Bama and Tenn. And Bama can still play the cupcakes Vandy and Kentucky. Texas and A&M united again and everyone keeps a 7 game SEC slate. No need for cross over games to screw somebody the SEC office dislikes. Winners still play each other in the SECCG unless it would hurt having only one SEC team in the playoffs.

Why would you want LSU to leave the SEC?

And as far as 9-10 conference games per year, that would suck. Playing the same teams every year gets boring, you can't telll one season from another. I liked the days of playing 6 conference games and 5 OOC games. In 1983 LSU played FSU and Washington. The next year they played USC and Notre Dame.

I miss those days.

No need to take a shot at the Green Wave...Vanderbilt is 3-3 right now; Tulane is 5-2.

Please. Tulane is horrible as a program. This is their one decent season per decade.

If we have to stick at 14, why not move Vanderbilt & Missouri to the West & then Alabama & Auburn East?

That would make the East quite miserable taking away 2 bottom tier teams and adding the cream of the crop and a potential mid tier would be tough.
