No troll here, but really. What is your position now to the NCAA infractions on your football team?

What are these infractions? link? seeing as we have infractions on our football program....

This is still being debated. the court of public opinion has already cast its vote. and the results came back, everyone is scared and praying the NCAA can take care of Ole Miss. Because your football team no longer can.

They are hanging out with the people who said it all happened under Houston Nutt. Then when Nutt denied it, those people called him a self-promoting liar that just wants another job so he's willing to lie.

We freely admit that banking on Ole Miss to lose to Memphis every year was a decent plan that worked back in the early 2000s, but we all need to be more vigilant about insuring Ole Miss is relegated to also-ran status.

ESPN is reporting that the Ole Miss Football program has been cited for 13 of the 28 rules violations by NCAA. Out of the 13 violations, nine of them occurred under current coach Hugh Freeze's watch.
quote:
The violations are a mix of Level I, II and III; the NCAA considers Level I violations the most serious. Many of the violations have already been self-reported by the school.

The school's women's basketball and track and field programs are also involved in the investigation.
Ole Miss has 90 days to respond to the notice of allegation

Here is the information 'ole spice' bubby boy.

I'm not saying there's nothing to it because we definitely will be penalized and should be penalized for the Tunsil fiasco, but based on what I've ready on ESPN, which I would bet is more informative than posters on this site, the other 4 infractions under Freeze are not serious. They could be level 1 infractions, I don't know, but all I can go is based on what I read and I haven't seen anything that mentions huge penalties. Obviously the NCAA can do whatever it wants and if they determine we've cheated enough to warrant probation or anything else, they'll do it. At the end of the day if Freeze is the scum everyone thinks he is, he would have pulled a Calipari and gone to another program before his got his hard. That's just logical thinking which I'm not sure is allowed here, but he definitely could have taken a job elsewhere to avoid this drama. We'll see what happens.

what is the rule with recent signees? Must they honor their commitment to Ole Miss when the university and the head coach are in the wrong?

Correct. Everything other than the tunsil situation has been reported over the past few years.

If they were severe...he would have bolted.

Rebfan10.........duly noted. BUT, you are not the typical rebs fan who is trying to talk this, wish this, deny this away. Kinda like Wizard of Oz....think it hard enough and it will be reality.

For you and only you, good luck.
