I guess I just don't understand why their fans call everyone else delusional and irrelevant when that's really what they've been doing the last four years.

Arkansas fans are still mad that the best Arkansas team in 50 years was utterly destroyed in Tiger Stadium in 2011 when they were ranked #3 and had a shot at an SEC title and birth in the national championship game.

It was a complete destruction that Arkansas has never recovered from. The coach went off the rails and had a "motorcycle accident" and has now gone on to make Louisville a national title contender. Meanwhile, Arky muddles along.

A lot has been made of LSU hitting a wall against Alabama and the 21-0 game, but little has been said about the evening that LSU took Arkansas' manhood and shut the door on any hope that they would ever win a title.

This explains the hate that Arky has for LSU and why we keep seeing threads like this. So, keep them coming. They are just a reminder that Arkansas will always be Arkansas no matter what happens.

Your coach and players sure seem to enjoy winning that game more than most.

Our Coach and players enjoy every win, don't think they enjoy the annual win over LSu an more than others. maybe that was the case 4 or 5 years ago, sure, recently not so much.

Again, L5U fans have a much higher opinion of the importance of the Bama game than Bama and all the other teams in the SECW. Just another notch non the Bama belt.

The relevancy claimed by yall isn't the opinion of the rest of the conference fans.

Is that why LSU is the team that they ensure the bye week is before, year after year after year? Even if you want to try to play it down, the coaches certainly don't.

I think that this game is important to both fan bases (whether some want to admit it or not). It's important to LSU because we are sick of losing to you. It's important to Alabama because if you lose (especially if we are a three or four loss team like some on here believe we will be), your playoff dreams may go down the shitter

When will Arkansas win an SEC championship and another (1960's) national championship.

these threads are always so stupid, as the term "relevance" is up for interpretation depending on the thread/person. LSU was a defensive stop away from winning the West in 2012. They were a top 10 team most of the season in 2013. They screwed themselves by blowing the Alabama game after a great start and choking against a very overmatched Ole Miss team, and really still should have won that game after coming back to tie the game. 2014 was bad. Last year ended very poorly.

The next time there is a number 1 vs number 2 on campus LSU will be relevant because LSU is the last team to win the game of the century.

"LSU has become a little bit of a rivalry game because their program has become so good," Saban said. "This game usually has a lot of significance coming down to the ninth game of the season because we've had some success too. That's what's made it a national interest game, that's what's made it a rivalry game and that's what's made it an important game. So it's a real compliment to them." - Nick Saban 2015

Will a new coach fix everything?

Look at the the talent flowing in each year and the lack of championships. It seems to me that Les has Aspergers.

That's why a new coach should fix the problem. We have just as much talent as anybody. Put a good coach there and we should be better. Pretty simple.

Okay. I'll concede this point. L5U is a little bit of a rivalry, but they'd better pick their game up considerably or else that little bit is dead and buried and gone. GONE!

Barret graduated years ago. That's so 2012. Livin in the past. The new LSU motto.
