We played 6 or 7 ranked teams last year. You need the tougher ooc, we dont.
Well shite, for some reason I though you were a Clemson fan. I don't know any thing about records in the pac12.

Pretty much every year
Only time I can remember since Saban took over was 2011 when we played WVU and Oregon.
Not saying I didn't miss a year or two, but we can't say every year.
I would guess only USC, and UGA do it fairly often.

Not to mention the games with ECU, while not a P5, they are usually a solid team. Better than a lot of P5 teams, that could be scheduled.

Power 5 including ND
Last time Alabama had a home and home with Notre Dame, 1986 and 1987.
Alabama won in 86, Birmingham, AL; and ND won in 87, South Bend, IN. That was also the last time Alabama and ND played until the 2013 BCS Championship game.

We seem to be playing ECU a bunch recently, and while I love everything about their school (especially their logo), we don't really gain anything from it except a footprint in NC.
Ha-ha, VCU is better.
I do agree y'all don't gain much by beating them, and have more to lose, but they are usually a solid team.
I do wonder why y'all never try to schedule a name school, from outside the Carolinas. I understand it does rekindle old ACC rivalries, but would be cool to see y'all play a name school from the Big 10, or Pac, or something.
Y'all could play USC, over who the real USC is, or something.

Don't think 6-7 teams finished ranked.

I read that Bear blamed the AD for such a tough schedule in 1978. A non local reporter asked who that AD was. The Bear said "that fool of a AD was me!" Some of those schedules back then were brutal.

Last chance, I would advise you to quit while you're ahead, but after looking at all of the downvotes for every one of your posts, looks like you started behind and have gotten worse...

I think 2003...UT played Duke and Miami back to back.
Looking at schedules...here are the ones I can find for UT since 2000.
2003 - Duke, Miami
2002 - Rutgers, Miami
2001 - Syracuse, Notre Dame
