Vacated = The school that vacated has all the wins turned to losses.

Forfeited = The school that forfeits has all the wins turned to losses AND the school that lost to them has it changed to a win.

So, yes, If Ole Miss forfeits then Alabama would be 15-0.

Alabama will probably claim 3 or 4 more titles if Ole Miss has to vacate those wins.

Didn't they claim that post-season trip to Hawaii as one too?

Which one? We went to Hawaii in 1985, 2002, and 2003 for our post-season trip.

Still not correct.

The win is wiped from the record books altogether. No win, no loss.

For example
Officially, Alabama is 0-2 for the 2005 season. All 10 wins vacated.

We forfeited the outcome of 9 games in 1993. One of those was a tie to Phillip Fulmer and the Tennessee Volunteers. You will notice that tie is now in Fulmer's win column.

Yes a forfeited tie becomes a win, but a forfeited win doesn't become a win for the other team.

For example, as it stands right now, Tennessee is 44-20-1. We will not be 45-19-1 when Ole Miss forfeits their last win. We will be 44-19-1.

See where I'm going with this?

Wrong.

All you have to do is take a look at the W-L record for every team Alabama beat in 1993 to come to that conclusion.

For instance...Mississippi State finished '93 with an on-the-field record of 3-6-2. However, the NCAA says they finished the season 4-5-2 after Alabama forfeited its win to them in 1993.

A quick Google search would have settled all of this. Instead you had to look like an idiot.....again.

The NCAA hasn't used forfeiture in almost 20 years. Losses still stand, moron.

Why would they have to forfeit the Bama Game. JT was benched for that game, so they did not play an ineligible player.

What better way to make an example of them?

You're just jealous because you don't want Alabama to do it first.

Nope. Ohio State vacated that win, they did not forfeit the game.

I guess I don't really care if Ole Miss vacates or forfeits. Won't matter in Arkansas. We just beat them outright. Sorry for those that can't.
