The only way would be to cheat their assess off and you see where that got em.

This is perhaps the breaking story in all of athletics, when did Vandy get sidewalk fans?
Are you real?
Is Santa as cool as he looks?
Who really shot JFK?

I remember some state poster posted a bunch of stats from ole miss' cheatin years and they were basically exactly on par with MSU. So if anything we can expect state to move past OM

I've seen the punctuation as . . . Vanderbilt?" You got a cite?
No one picked up that Vandy is not a "city"

This rivalry was almost dead at one point because both teams were bad. Since Mullen and Beaver were hired, the rivalry is at its strongest. I heard some say it has gone too far. Let's be honest, Ole Miss will never catch up.

Could move the game up in the schedule make it more meaningful

Idk. For the longest the game on thanksgiving day but I guess around 4-5 years they moved it to Saturday. The thanksgiving day game was a tradition in many households in the state. I'm glad they are moving it back this year.

It's just a matter of time before State's back on probation. The dance of eternity

I think Ole Miss should concentrate on moving past Southern Miss before they set their sites on Mississippi State.

Well, I always found you have two different reactions to the rivalry. Some people, mostly in staters really want to beat MSU. A lot of people want to beat LSU and Bama more, LSU because we hate them and Bama because they are filthy, unwashed gumps.
I never got worked up for the Egg Bowl because I honestly don't know many MSU people and the ones I do are friends of mine. I guess cause I grew up in Tennessee.
Things have been dialed up to 11 lately though and both fanbases are starting to take it from a rivalry to something I would prefer it wasn't where they want the outright destruction of the other.

You might want to schedule Southern Miss as your rival. It might be awhile before you beat State,LSU, or Bama again. I do have a question for you. Since your AD said that Ole Miss is going to call every game a bowl game, did your spring game count as a bowl game? Serious question.

Josh stop kidding yourself. No matter how good or how crappy each of our teams are heading into the Egg it always ends up being a landmine for the team that has something to lose.

One of these is not like the others.

Correct, losing to LSU & Bama 3x didn't drive OM down the path of unprecedented cheating.
But losing to that smug, yankee scientologist at MSU did

I was going more for the Bama and LSU are actually worth a shite angle, but whatever floats your boat.

Who has been busted for cheating and outbid the "blatant cheating" OM for Jones, Simmons, Leo, Redmond, and Peters
